Graduate student to speak on gray wolf population

UW-Madison graduate student Jennifer Stenglein will speak about Wisconsin’s rebounding gray wolf population and her research of wolf population dynamics Monday, July 8, at 7 p.m. at the Kemp Natural Resources Station in Woodruff

In particular, she will give ideas for why wolves took so many years to exceed endangered status, and how wolf survival and causes of wolf mortality have varied over time and across the state.
