|Three Lakes School Board OK’s preliminary budget|

Operating on the final year of its previous referendum, the Three Lakes School District proposed a year-end budget for the 2012-’13 school year showing a deficit of $28,020.
“We anticipated about a $170,000 deficit,” said District Administrator George Karling. “So, a $28,000 deficit was good news.”
The district also proposed a budget for the 2013-’14 school year showing all-funds revenues of $10,687,867 and all-funds expenditures of $10,257,184. The Three Lakes School Board approved a positive balance on the budget of $430,682.Karling said the balance is the effect of
