Pines grad Laszczkowski receives undergraduate research award

This past spring, 2011 Northland Pines graduate Tyler Laszczkowski was chosen as a recipient of the 2013-’14 Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium Undergraduate Research Award for his research titled, “Expanding Our Knowledge of Interstellar Neutral Hydrogen Shells.”

Laszczkowski has spent this summer in the Astrophysics Lab of University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with his Astronomy professor, Dr. Shauna Sallmen, working on his project to expand the database of known neutral hydrogen shells in our galaxy, so their evolution and interactions can be better understood.
