DNR taking input on NR 115 change

Proposed changes to minimum statewide shoreland zoning standards that would allow more expansion of homes between 35 and 75 feet from the water’s edge will be the topic of a public hearing in Tomahawk next Thursday, Aug. 22.

The proposed changes to Chapter NR 115, the state’s shoreland zoning regulations, are designed to make the standards easier for counties to implement, according to a state official.
