Moustakis, city still at odds over statement

An invitation by the Eagle River City Council to Vilas County District Attorney Albert Moustakis to discuss in person his request for an apology from city officials for allegations city employees gave false information to a newspaper regarding his golfing at the municipal course was answered in a two-page letter from Moustakis’ attorney at last week’s council meeting.

Moustakis claimed it was a false statement that he would golf elsewhere because of the open records release of his tee times and that the statement came from City Clerk/Treasurer Debbie Brown from a conversation with course professional Howard Manske.

Seems like the city council of Eagle River is at it again. Debbie Brown allegedly has made comments about a very respectable Attorney , Albert Moustakis , that seem to have been made up ? If this is to be found true , she should be removed from her position as city clerk.
We as citizens can not allow the City of Eagle River make up the rules as they go.
