Hallman appointed to community service board

Gov. Scott Walker has appointed Tony Hallman of Three Lakes to the Wisconsin National and Community Service Board.

Hallman, first appointed in 2005 by then Gov. Jim Doyle, has served as the Program Evaluation and Development Committee chairman, vice chairman for two years and chairman of the board for two years.

The 1993 Wisconsin Act 437 created the Wisconsin National &? Community Service Board to oversee AmeriCorps funding and volunteerism in Wisconsin. The board serving Wisconsin is a 22-member citizen body appointed by the governor.
