Rita Mitori, a resident of Eagle River for more than 20 years and formerly of Chicago, Ill., died Friday Sept. 6, 2013, at the Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. She was 87.
Mrs. Mitori was born Nov. 22, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., to Julian and Elizabeth Lesner.
She was employed for 15 years at Lehner-Stephan Jewelers in Eagle River and for more than 30 years as a receptionist at Uptown Federal Savings and Loan in Chicago, Ill.Her interests included being in nature, feeding birds and watching deer.
Mrs. Mitori was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Eagle River.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia Kupinski; brother, Harry Lesner; and one grandson, Kenneth.
Survivors include one son, Ronald (Barb) of Carrollton, Texas; one sister, Joan (Lee) Matters of Elgin, Ill.; one granddaughter; and nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Eagle River.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
