|Low-income clinic project seeks professional volunteers|
Deb Elverson of Phelps has met with the new owner of the vacated Lillian Kerr Nursing Home building in Phelps in an effort to set up a nondenominational ministry and nonprofit low-income clinic and community center.
The building’s owner will allow the project with one stipulation: she must receive commitment by Sunday, Sept. 22, from volunteer lawyers, doctors, dentists, optometrists, board of directors, and others with expertise in their occupation.
