|Y to offer free guest passes|
The YMCA recently announced it will be celebrating Active Aging Week Sept. 30-Oct. 5, with a variety of programs for those 55 years of age and older.
“The Y is committed to providing programs and classes that have the active senior in mind,” said Marilyn Duschl, active older adult coordinator.
The Y has more than 600 senior members who participate in group exercise classes, wellness center workouts, aquatic classes, and educational and social events, according to Duschl.Free guest passes for Active Aging Week at the Y will be given to anyone 55 years of age and older.
