Miller takes first at annual Smiley

The Three Lakes cross-country teams traveled to Northland International University in Dunbar at an inaugural meet hosted by Goodman-Pembine last Tuesday and to Wausau for the annual Smiley Invitational Saturday.

The girls team took first place at Dunbar, and senior harrier Natalie Miller grabbed a first-place finish at the Smiley Invite, beating out 202 Division 2 and 3 runners from around the state.

Runners from Carney-Nadeau, Goodman-Pembine, Norway and Three Lakes competed in the Dunbar meet.
