|School Board OKs new security system for two schools|
By Briana Jones
The Three Lakes School Board is moving forward with a plan to protect students and faculty using a new security system, which will be installed at both the Three Lakes and Sugar Camp schools in the near future.
At last week’s meeting, the board unanimously approved a security proposal from PER MAR Security Services detailing a system cost of $44,240 for installation and wiring.
Rhinelander schools recently received the same security update, so Three Lakes and Sugar Camp would be the last of the Oneida County schools to install a new system. All the schools will be able to network to the same system for additional security.Three Lakes Chief of Police Scott Lea
