|Concealed carry permits hit milestone as fee drops|
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced that employees of the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) issued concealed carry license number 200,000 last week.
All Wisconsin concealed carry licenses are printed in the secure processing area of the Risser Justice Center in downtown Madison. Wisconsin Act 35, which implemented the state’s concealed carry program, took effect Nov. 1, 2011.
Van Hollen also reminded Wisconsin residents who want to apply for a concealed carry license that the application fee has been reduced to $40.Applicants should submit the proper amount with
