Colder temps to help walleye, muskie fishing
By George Langley

Well, it’s about time. It would appear that fall is finally here, and not a moment too soon. Last week was beautiful, but really crummy if you are a muskie fisherman.

With this colder weather, the water temperatures will drop quickly down through the 50s and into the 40s. Anglers will have to deal with turnover on many lakes, but it’s worth it to get those temperatures down to where they should be at this time of year.

With some rain and a lot of wind, the leaves are off the trees for the most part.
