|Bull moose sighted near city|

Several people reported seeing a bull moose just north of the city of Eagle River last week, an animal that likely wandered down from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Butch Simac of Eagle River said he saw the bull moose, with about 40-inch-wide antlers, near the Northern Lakes Concrete plant off of Silver Lake Road last Wednesday.
David Olson emailed a note to the News-Review Saturday that he had a trail camera photograph of a bull moose, likely the same animal, at 3945 Eagle Pines Road at 7:15 a.m. last Thursday. Eagle Pines Road is on the north side of Eagle Lake.“My parents
