According to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, participation in the state’s advanced placement (AP)? exams during 2013 in public and private schools was up more than 10%, although locally, numbers have remained generally steady.
Numbers have been on the rise in recent years at Northland Pines. Forty-two students took AP exams in 2012, compared to 26 in the 2010-’11 school year, said guidance counselor Pauline Ceulemans. Figures for 2013 were not yet available.Although Three Lakes School doesn’t officially have AP
