|Garage is sinking; panel studies options for Vilas County|

An analysis of the sinking corner of the evidence garage north of the Vilas County Justice Center in Eagle River found soil problems that would be expensive to correct, according to a report to the Vilas County Public Property Committee last week.
The committee had placed $38,000 in a budget to correct the problem, but soil borings and analysis indicated more support would be required on the northern portion of the building, according to a written summary provided by Kurt Berner of the Samuels Group.“The increase in the number of push piers needed for the building would cost $48,000 just for the piers
