|Gov. Walker signs property tax bill|

BURLINGTON?— Gov. Scott Walker signed a bill into law this week during a visit to the Rice Family Farm in Burlington that will spend $100 million of a state surplus on property tax relief for Wisconsin homeowners.
The bill was unveiled by Walker Oct. 10 and breezed through the Legislature in a bipartisan effort, although Democrats have criticized the plan as political posturing.
The amount of relief will vary around the state, although the average homeowner will see approximately $13 in savings this year.“In the decade prior to our taking office,
