|Street lights wouldn’t be missed|
Letter to the Editor:
I recently have read and heard about the town of Lincoln trying to reduce their budget. The town would be able to have a cost savings of around $10,000 by having the road lights north of the city of Eagle River turned off.
I had been in Phelps and was returning home along Highway 45 around 7 p.m. and was almost to the Holiday gas station when I realized the street lights were not on.
My point being, I don’t think those lights would be missed if they were off permanently.
