Hometown Reunion Committee donates to music department

The Phelps Hometown Reunion Committee recently presented a $1,750 check to Phelps School music director Kim Johnson for new instruments in the classroom.

The donation was made possible through profits from the recent Hometown Reunion at the school.

Committee members said they chose the school’s music department

The Phelps Hometown Reunion proved very special for me. This donation of the profits to the the school music department adds to my joy. There must be some younger PHS alums who will take up the reins for another Reunion in five years. Thanks to all those in that hard working committee, from my generation, for a job very well done.
