Chain group to review milfoil treatment work

A meeting to inform the public of the aquatic invasive species (AIS) treatment results on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes during 2013 and treatment strategy for 2014 is set for this Thursday, Nov. 14.

Eddie Heath, aquatic ecologist from Onterra LLC, will conduct the meeting starting at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Town Hall, 1205 Sundstein Road, in Eagle River.

Onterra LLC is the lake management consulting firm hired by the Unified Lower Eagle River Chain of Lakes Commission. It is responsible for implementing the AIS treatment program on the Eagle River Chain.

The presentation will provide a summary of the AIS management that occurred this year,
