I grew up with a cabin next to Jane and the Greenwood Ranch! I can remember celebrating many birthdays up North in July and sometimes even at one of Jane's cabins... being that ours was too full with family! I share a love for the Northwoods that is hard to put into words and I know Jane did as well. So many of my memories as a kid at my cabin have Jane and her dogs in them :) I spoke with Jane last year hoping to be able to visit one of her nostalgic cabins again, but sadly did not make it to one. I hope whom ever ends up with the Greenwood Ranch pours as much love into it as Jane once did….the potential for it is endless!!
To another era at Greenwood Ranch!!

Was 16 when I first was there. My children were there. My Dad died on vacation up there. Will miss the truly family vacation at Jane's. Can't be replaced.

Jane will be missed by every member of our family. The first time I stayed at Greenwood Ranch was Aug.of 1949 and the last was Aug. of 1986. We still vacation every summer in St. Germain. and my Granddaughters are the 5th generation to do so. R.I.P. Jane

Sad news to hear of Jane's passing. She was a St.Germain Grade School mentor for me in the 40s, and I have thought often--but not seen her,sadly--for 65+ years. The Powell Family was a constant in my life for all of my earlier years. Jane will be missed; her memory will persist. JIM DEAN
