|High winds cause outages|
High winds Sunday evening and Monday morning caused hundreds of scattered power outages throughout Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) service area, according to a WPS official.
As of noon Monday, WPS still reported more than 900 customers without power in nearly 50 separate outages.
The outages were scattered primarily in the northeast and northcentral sections of the WPS service area, according to Kerry Spees, WPS senior public relations consultant.At 7:45 a.m. Monday, WPS reported 4,200 customers were without power in 79
