City to sell Pride property on south side

A wide variety of projects were covered in a lengthy session of the Eagle River City Council last week, including setting a price of the former Pride property now cleaned up and owned by the city.

Other topics included allowing marina sales at a lot near the intersection of S. Railroad and Pine streets, information on a new half marathon next fall, pickleball court development ideas, completion of road projects, parking issues and accepting a bid for new furnace at City Hall.

With cleanup of the former Pride property completed, an agreement was approved to list the 12 acres
