Group may return
to granular 2,4-D

While there has been some documented success over the past seven years of treating the Eagle River Chain of Lakes to reduce Eurasian water milfoil (EWM) by the Unified Lower Eagle River Chain of Lakes Commission, changes may be in store for future treatment procedures against aquatic invasive species (AIS).

The results of Phase V treatment were reviewed by Eddie Heath of Onterra LLC with commission members during a public meeting at the Lincoln Town Hall last week.
