It was Dag Hammarskjold who said, “For all that has been, thanks. For all that shall be, yes.” Author Brené Brown said, “We’re a nation hungry for more joy, because we’re starving from a lack of gratitude.” And then there is Saint Paul who advised that we “give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Buddha: “Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us be thankful.”

“Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer.
