DayBreak Adult Center offers caregivers time for themselves
By Sonia Dionne
Feature Writer

Caring for a loved one or neighbor is a selfless task. Most caregivers do not expect thanks for their sacrifices and, unfortunately, they take little time for themselves. Many have full-time jobs or have disabilities of their own.

According to the Caregiver Action Network, 39% of adult Americans care for someone who has become disabled or sick. That is up from 30% in 2010.
