|Phelps chamber sought bids for annual meeting|
Letter to the Editor:In response to the Judy Wiita letter in the Vilas County News-Review Nov. 20 titled, “Questions location of chamber dinner.”
Dear Judy Wiita,
Thank you for your Letter to the Editor voicing your concerns in regards to the Phelps Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting/dinner. One business submitted a bid and then withdrew, and two others submitted bids for consideration. The Phelps chamber board of directors then held a blind vote based on the proposed menus and price. Gateway Lodge won in a close vote.
