Donald ‘Rusty Bucket’ Duncan PDF Print E-mail

Donald “Rusty Buck­et” Duncan, age 78, a resident of Eagle River, Wis., since 1993 and former resident of Wausau, Wis., died on Nov. 28, 2013, at his home. Donald was born on Dec. 7, 1934, in Chicago, Ill. He graduated from Merrill High School. He married his wife Rosella on Nov. 25, 1971, in Merrill, Wis. He worked for Schneider National for 33 years. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and watching football. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the NRA. Donald served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosella; his parents; and his sister, Dixie. Donald is survived by nine children, two sisters, 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
