Eagle boys top D.C. Everest 3-0 in opener
By Gary Ridderbusch

With neither team having played a game this season, the Northland Pines High School coaching staff anticipated playing a D.C. Everest team that was built upon a lot of hard work and discipline last Tuesday night at the Dome.

In the end, the Eagles won the physical game 3-0 on three second-period goals.

The first period started off very slow with some back and forth action as the teams opened the 2013-’14 season on a conservative agenda.
