Plum Creek gives $3,800 to Trees

The Plum Creek Foundation contributed to Trees For Tomorrow’s third annual Forest Fest, held earlier this year in Eagle River, with a $3,800 grant to the organization.

Forest Fest is an annual celebration that educates the public about the forest products industry through hands-on activities. Nearly 800 people attended the event this year.

“Thanks to the help of the Plum Creek Foundation, we were able to inform our community about sustainable forest management practices,” said Interim Executive Director Cheryl Todea.

The event included family-friendly activities, forest management tours, demonstrations, music, food and more.
