An estimated 600 dedicated fans braved subzero weather Saturday night to cheer the Falcons on to a 10-6 win over the De Pere Deacons at the Dome.

The Falcons, now 2-0 on the young season, will be on the road for the next four games.

The Deacons got on the scoreboard first, as Jeff Lambrecht beat Eagle River goalie Mick Keating to the pipe with a shot up close to give his team an early lead at 6:19 of the first period.

But the home team out shot De Pere 21-9 in the period, scoring three consecutive goals to post a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes of play.
