|Eagle River Revitalization Program offers cash prize for business contest|
A first-ever contest to encourage new business startups or expansions in the city of Eagle River will accept business plans for judging until Dec. 16. A prize package of $3,000 in cash and free advertising awaits the winner.
“We’ve tried to keep the contest rules and guidelines very simple,” said Al Pittelko, executive director of the Eagle River Revitalization Program (ERRP), which organized the contest.“In fact, we suggest that a business plan submitted for judging not exceed 10 pages,” he said. “We’re interested in good and practical business ideas, not a lot of paperwork.”
