Sugar Camp keeps levy same for 2014
By News-Review Staff

The Sugar Camp Town Board and the town’s electorate approved a tax levy of $670,469 for 2014.

Although the state would have allowed a levy increase of 1.22% for new construction, the board kept the levy the same as 2013, using $100,000 in extra funds from years past to balance the budget.

Electors also approved highway expenditures of $533,300, marking a 0.43% increase over last year.
