Joyce Ingram, age 91, a lifelong resident of Eagle River, Wis., went to be with her Lord and Savior Dec. 13, 2013.
She was born Sept. 4, 1922, in Fargo, N.D., to Lyle and Pearl Karenke.
Joyce was an active member of Community Bible Church in Eagle River, where she faithfully played the piano at all church services, taught Sunday school and was a member of the Ladies Mission Group.She taught Bible classes to children for many years.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Philip, in 1978; brothers, Roy, Lyle, Dale and Lloyd; sisters, Vivian and Gladys.
She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Richard) Horness of Howards Grove, Wis., Phyllis (Daniel) Schultz of Sheboygan, Wis., Shelley (Dean) Isleb, Carmen (Jeffrey) Lewis; brother, Clyde Karenke; and sister, Marion Adamovich, all of Eagle River; grandchildren, Dan, Darren, Thomas, Tamara, Matthew, Jeffrey and Krista; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Michael.
A funeral service was held Dec. 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River. Visitation was from noon to the time of service at the funeral home.
