Wolf ecology workshop planned at Trees For Tomorrow Feb. 15-16

Trees For Tomorrow will hold a winter wolf ecology workshop called “Moving Beyond Recovery” Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16, beginning at 9 a.m. on its campus in Eagle River.

The workshop is sponsored by the Timber Wolf Information Network (TWIN), a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide education on conservation and management of the timber wolf in the wild.

TWIN’s hands-on wolf experts will discuss and demonstrate wolf physiology, ecology, behavior and predation, as well as past and present management of this iconic animal, and the human attitudes that have shaped its modern-day existence.
