Eagle boys edge Antigo, Mosinee; stay on top of GNC
By Gary Ridderbusch

The Northland Pines Eagles beat Antigo 3-2 in overtime and Mosinee 4-3 last week to improve to 5-0 in the Great Northern Conference (GNC).
The Eagles’ Zachary Kennedy took a pass from Noah Weber and fired a shot over the Antigo goalie with 1:17 remaining in overtime to give Pines a road win over the host Antigo Red Robins Thursday night.
In the first period, shots were fairly even at 7-6 in favor of the Robins, but Pines tallied the only goal. Kennedy squeezed the puck between the goalie and the pipe.
