Fishing activity slows with colder temps
By George Langley

It can’t get much colder than this. The extreme winter cold this week, with high temperatures below zero on Monday and Tuesday, kept most ice fishermen and snow enthusiasts indoors. According to the weather forecasters, better weather is on the way later this week. Boy, will it be welcome!

The North Woods has absolutely great snow and ice conditions. Now if it’ll just get a little warmer. Teens would be perfect.

Lakes have 10 to 15 inches of really nice ice out there and not many lakes have slush.
