Pines girls get two hockey wins over Tomahawk, Sun Prairie

The Northland Pines High School girls hockey team are now 10-2 after defeating Tomahawk 6-1 last Friday and beating the Sun Prairie co-op 2-1 Saturday.

The Tomahawk Hatchets tested the Pines girls in the first period, scoring first and taking an early 1-0 lead.

“We came out playing like individuals, rather than a team,” said Pines coach Patrick Schmidt.
