Eagle River facility brings jobs, single-stream recycling to North

A massive building and equipment expansion project at Eagle Waste & Recycling Inc. in Eagle River is completed — bringing more than a dozen jobs and recycling advances to the North Woods.

The company, owned by Alan Albee, recently completed the state-of-the art recycling material recovery facility in the former Surgipath building and facility addition at 701 W. Surgipath Lane near the airport.
