Towns get road aids PDF Print E-mail

Gov. Scott Walker recently announced that payments totaling more than $104 million for general transportation aids, connecting highway aids and expressway policing aids have been delivered to local governments from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT).

Payments for Vilas County totaled $210,090, including $20,101 for the town of Cloverland; $47,543 for Conover; $44,584 for Land O’ Lakes; $34,068 for Lincoln; $54,089 for Phelps; $48,400 for Plum Lake; $45,214 for St. Germain; $38,482 for Washington; and $78,124 for the city of Eagle River.

In Oneida County, payments totaled $220,274, including $38,535 for Sugar Camp and $67,940 for Three Lakes.
