In addition to the approximately 30,000 spectators who will likely be on hand for the four-day event, a batch of new racers in many classes will add to the hundreds of drivers expected to compete.
“There will be several new racers, so I know it’s going to be some really good racing,” said AMSOIL Derby Track owner Chuck Decker, who added that track conditions are the absolute best they’ve been in the event’s 51-year history.
