Frost instructs at first responders class

Dr. Holly Frost, pediatrician at Marshfield Clinic Lakeland Center in Woodruff, visited the St. Germain’s firefighters and first responders refresher course Feb. 3 to teach a unit on pediatric rescue and resuscitation.
Frost is originally from Rhinelander and attended Nicolet Area Technical College before going on to obtain a pediatrics degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and completing residency at University of Colorado-Children’s Hospital of Denver.
Frost explained that children are not just little people. A child’s physiology and way of dealing with illness is completely different from that of an adult and the place this is most evident is in the airway.
