Many Ways of Peace in downtown Eagle River will host a seven-week study circle exploring the Dalai Lama’s best-selling book, “Ethics for the New Millennium.” Meetings will be held Mondays, Feb. 17 through March 31, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
In a review by the Washington Post, the book, first released in 1999, was hailed for offering help, instruction and inspiration. “Its lessons can maybe change your life.”
The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, lives in exile in India after escaping Tibet in 1959. His tireless efforts on behalf of human rights and world peace have brought him international recognition.
