Board reviews five-year road pavement plan

A presentation by Public Works personnel regarding repair and maintenance of town roads was among the main topics during last week’s meeting of the Three Lakes Town Board.
Public Works personnel Brian Slizewski and Dave Siemiakowski presented a web-based program to the board that rates and prioritizes town roads based on pavement conditions.
The presentation outlined a suggested five-year pavement condition forecast that combines the board’s budgeted amount for roadwork, the Public Works’ road condition assessment, and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (DOT) local road data using the Wisconsin Information System for Local Roads (WISLR)
