Klondike Days still popular despite frigid temps both days

While cold temperatures affected the number of spectators who attended the 24th annual Klondike Days in Eagle River Saturday and Sunday, organizers said the historical winter festival met its goal of drawing people to the North Woods in early March.

Temperatures were sub-zero both mornings as Klon­dike Days spectators arrived at the festival grounds and the high never reached 10 degrees either day.
