Students raise $738 for society

The 130 students at St. Germain Elementary raised $737.91 through the Pennies For Patients program of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The funds will be used to help those suffering from cancers of the blood.

The school’s custodian, Gerald Healy, well known at the school as a Chicago Bears fan, challenged the children to raise $500 or more during the course of the project.
