Wildlife experts monitoring northern deer herd

With about 26 inches of snow on the ground across Vilas and Oneida counties, and nearly 60 days of below zero temperatures this winter, Department of Natural Resources (DNR) wildlife experts are keeping a close eye  on deer and turkey survival.
