Two races set for Pines Board

There will be two contests for positions on the Northland Pines School Board in the spring election next Tuesday, April. 1.

Incumbent board member Mark Vander Bloomen is being challenged by former board member Amy Decker in Area A, which includes the city of Eagle River and towns of Cloverland, Lincoln and Washington.

In Area B, which is the town of Conover, new candidates Jennifer Payne and Shirley Kufeldt are vying for the seat being vacated by  incumbent Mike Jovanovic, who filed for noncandidacy.
