Vander Bloomen, Hassey vie for Lincoln Board seat

Bill Hassey and Kara Vander Bloomen are vying for a town board supervisory position for the town of Lincoln in the spring election next Tuesday, April 1.

The two candidates defeated incumbent town board supervisor Leon Kukanich in the primary election Feb. 18.  Incumbent Supervisor Bruce Richter also has an expiring term this spring, but is unopposed.

Because the town of Lincoln has a five-member town board, Chairman Dick Stoegbauer, supervisors Brian Uttech and Scott Nordstrom, and Town Clerk/Treasurer Shelly Sauvola aren’t up for re-election this spring.

In the primary, Hassey garnered 159 votes,
