Walker touts tax relief during North Woods visit

After signing Special Session Senate Bill 1 Monday, Gov. Scott Walker made a stop in the North Woods to tout his “Blueprint for Prosperity” that is expected to put more money in the hands of state residents.

Walker, who first introduced his Blueprint for Prosperity in January 2014 following the news of a $911 million surplus stemming from higher-than-projected state revenue, said the plan provides significant tax relief for Wisconsinites and invests in worker training.

The governor explained the bill’s major accomplishments
